When my husband and I die, what happens to Cody? That is THE thought that a parent with a differently-abled child thinks CONSTANTLY. This leaves a large population of people without additional education, without jobs and without those necessities…that means no self-sufficiency. And those programs are mostly a one-size-fits-all type approach. Most are Medicaid based and there are many adults who will not even qualify for those programs. Most do not realize that there are extremely limited opportunities post high school. We recognize the lack of opportunities available for adults with differences and wanted to be part of the solution. We were formed by a group of moms whose children are neuro-diverse. PerspectAbility was born out of necessity. THANK YOU! We are building an inclusive environment in Northwest Arkansas where neuro-diverse adults can choose to live independently, continue their education, experience new opportunities and grow their community! The Armed Forces Network from Subic Bay stayed on through the night, broadcasting bulletins about the unfathomable murder. The two marines sat with the three sailors on the bunks in the Quonset hut for transient enlisted men, watching the air conditioner drip water into a coffee can and drinking beer. There was one small nightspot on the island, a dilapidated club with big revolving fans in the ceiling and one bar and one pinball game the two marines who ran the club had come by to wake them up and tell themwhat had happened to the President. Seaman Houston and the other two recruits slept while the first reports traveled around the world. Penguin Christmas Classics honor the power of literature to keep on giving through the ages. A dog did what? A stray dog followed an ultra-marathon runner for 75 miles through the Gobi Desert and found her forever home…. the premise is ridiculous to even think about.
